Dr. Allemand has received extensive training in all aspects of in fertility care, including in vitro fertilization, as well as reproductive surgical procedures. He has a particular interest in operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

Michael C. Allemand, MD

Dr. Allemand is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Subspecialty Board of Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. Originally from Texas, he received his medical degree from Texas A&M University in 1999 where he graduated with honors. Dr. Allemand was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society in his fourth year of medical school, and continued at Texas A&M for residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital, serving as chief resident during his fourth year of residency. Upon completion of his residency in 2003, Dr. Allemand and his family moved to Rochester, MN, to begin a three year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Allemand has received extensive training in all aspects of in fertility care, including in vitro fertilization, as well as reproductive surgical procedures. He has a particular interest in operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

Dr. Allemand has presented research at major scientific meetings of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, winning third prize for his research in male factor infertility at the 2001 annual meeting. In addition, he has published research on diagnosis and fertility treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome in the journal Fertility and Sterility, for which he has also served as an ad hoc reviewer.

Dr. Allemand is dedicated to providing high quality and compassionate care to couples experiencing infertility. He and his wife, Carrie, have three children.
